I have now seen (and sat on) the bench in situ in the churchyard of St Wilfrid's , Melling which you provided at my request in memory of my late wife .
It appears to be an excellent piece of joinery; the lettering both on the bench itself and on the small plaque has been carefully and sensitively done . It is entirely comfortable to sit on - which reflects well on the design .
The bench looks at home in the environment provided for it by the church authorities without being in any way obtrusive or ostentatious .
It is a fitting memorial to a modest and caring lady . I hope it will give service to visitors to the churchyard for many years to come .

A very belated thank you to you and the team. My work colleagues and I purchased a bench back in August last year for a lady who sadly passed away with Cancer. For one reason or another it has taken quite a while to "Unveil" the bench but her family were able to come down (a four and a half hour round trip) to see the site recently and were overwhelmed by the lovely gesture, helped in no small part by the quality of the 3 seat Great Maytham Extra Heavy.
I would urge anyone to try and spend a little extra on wood engraving as it adds a whole extra dimension to the finished article

24.03.2013 "Excellent customer service with regards to information relating to the selection of the memorial bench, layout and positioning of plaque inscription and wood engraving. This involved several telephone calls and emailing the suggested layouts between us until I was happy that it was as required and the order made.
The only slight problem was re the delivery. The information supplied stresses that the delivery contractor will contact the delivery address beforehand to agree time/date etc. I had requested a specific date as it involved me travelling to the site (which was my preference) to receive delivery, check order etc. I had a call from the site (a golf club) two days before that date to say that it had been delivered and , to their knowledge, no prior contact had been made. A relatively minor issue particularly as the bench looks very good and is exactly as agreed. I will email a picture under separate cover."
**Note from MBUK: We did exactly as per the Delivery Details section, "When your Bench is ready, our delivery partner will collect it from our warehouse.
